Raelynn 4 Months

4 Months:
Weight: 16lbs
Height:24.5
Size: 3-6 months. she is shorter than shayne so i find she isnt out growing clothes as fast. but she has a big head i had to buy her a 24 month hat. Also her santa pjs are a 6-12 months and I ordered her some hoodies that were 6-12 months and she is fitting in them nicely.
Hair: is coming in more...is really dark like her daddy's.
Eyes: grey some times look brown
Teeth: none still. she is starting to chew on her hands more
Loves: shayne, getting a clean bum, being naked. she loves to kick around in the tub which makes shayne laugh and she starts kicking too. she loves zoey even when zoey was eating her.
Dislikes: having a dirty bum, gas...she has had some huge gas bubbles lately
Firsts: cold, ear piercing, christmas parade.elf on the shelf, first black friday shopping. we are still waiting on that first real belly laugh
Eating:  breast milk and formula. tried rice cereal and acted like it was poo in her mouth
sleep: sleeping longer periods at night in her crib and wakes once to eat. only regular nap right now is the 10am.
other news: she is such a little talker. she coos a lot. We are still waiting on a giggle. she does answer to her name(as in look at you). She smiles if you stick your tongue out at her. she is starting to want to stand more. so she is spending more time in the exersaucer but get bored in it easily unless shayne is playing with her.

  1. Sare,

Was searching for my GF's blog and came across yours. Started reading and came to your post and pics about having your dd's ears pierced. This was a perfect age to pierce her ears!

I believe it is always best done early when she wouldn't remember and have mommy care for them during the healing phase. When she is older, she will think they are a part of her and won't bother them.

Promise she will look precious in her upcoming holiday pictures with them. I had our dd's ears pierced at about the same age.

You were a smart mommy for doing it. Babies and little girls with little pierced ears celebrates their femininity and femaleness.

Our ped encouraged me doing it when mommy could care for them. Also, she gave me some tips for moms helping them to find the right person, place and type of earrings to use for infants having their ears pierced. Would be happy to share by e-mail with any moms wanting more info.
